TALKING ABOUT DEATH ISN’T LIFE THREATENING: The Basics of Getting Your Life/Death in Order
Time & Location
About the Event
Death is something that many people avoid talking or thinking about. We all know it will happen but we convince ourselves, no matter our age, that it will happen in some distant future. Unfortunately, if we get very ill, or die suddenly, and we haven’t taken care of the basic end of life preparations, our families must make many decisions, and complete many tasks without our input and support. This is a huge burden that we can avoid.
Come to the information night to learn about the basic practical aspects of end of life preparation--wills, powers of attorney and advanced care plans. [Subsequent sessions will cover death and funeral plans.] The night will include an information session, question and answer time, and small group discussions to help clarify where you are in the process and what your next steps are.
April 30th, 7-9pm. $5-10 suggested donation. Please let us know if you intend to join us so we can be prepared with set-up and refreshments. If you have questions contact Shannon at email@example.com or leave a message at 519-494-8851 and she will return your call.
