I first met Shannon at her 3rd session of Death Cafe. I wasn't expecting anything particular from the session; I was there to support a friend. I was astonished at how well the session went and how much we enjoyed ourselves. It was amazing information from a very interesting and diverse set of backgrounds from an amazing mix of people. The crowd had such a variety of interesting questions and stories. Some of them came from community professionals, some from elderly couples and singles and some from a younger bunch, you know, middle aged. The conversations were lively and intelligent and everyone participated. I would say participation was more than anyone expected to contribute. Wonderful, knowledgeable, informative session. Well worth going. Thank you Shannon!
